Every doctor will attest that the best patients are those that have been referred on the inside. After 18 years in practice, I have discovered that there are multiple tools to attracting TONS of new patients from the inside, however the top 4 are these:

- THE DOCTOR’S REPORT: this is your patient education workshop that’s a requirement for all new patients to become a practice member. Not only do they “get the big idea” and get onto care, but they also refer friends and families.
- THE FAMILY GIFT CERTIFICATE: this simple health pass is a certificate given to a spouse upon checkout for her/his entire family to get a complimentary check up in the next 7 days. When scripted properly, it has over a 95% conversion rate for checkups.
- HEALTH INFORMATION KITS: every week we set a theme for a different focus on health. It may be spinal and “neuro integrity”, wellness checkups, or even headaches or migraines. We set a goal to give out at least 10 information kits on that particular subject which also includes a health pass for a spinal neurological checkup. Try to have a value for the examination as your conversions to care will be higher, versus a free exam.
- POWER WORKSHOPS: we run 1-2 per month and pack the house with lots of patients and friends/family! When people sign up at the front desk, we then point to the registration column that says “friends and Family” and ask them who would they like to bring?
